As an author, I have finished three novels and have three others in progress. These include:

  • Blue, my debut novel on depression. I created it to be the anti-thesis of the classic "normal guy learned something from the sick kid" narrative (among many other tropes in YA mental health novels).
  • Red, the sequel to Blue. It follows what happens after diagnosis. After all, too many stories see getting help and a diagnosis as the end point. But for people with disorders, they have the rest of their lives ahead of them. It is nearing the end of the editing process and will be posted soon.
  • Dial 20 for Hermit Crabs, my self-discovery/romance story about a girl with severe anxiety. Between figuring out who she is and how she deserves love, I want people to read it and remember they can figure it out, whoever they are.

I love writing novels and specialize in describing emotions. If I can help normalize how it feels to be disordered, physical or mental, or give the community more stories that treat them like humans, not plot devices, I will keep writing forever.

Currently, I do everything for my novels. I write outlines, type out drafts, edit for grammar and content, and even create the cover drafts. One day I hope to have other people help me refine this, but for now I constantly improve to do my best on my own.
