 My work with NerdBastards has been one of the most rewarding and expansive that I've ever done. I began doing what I was used to: research-based thinkpieces based around entertainment and nerd culture. However, while on the site I've become versed in timely news updates, in-depth reviews, gaming reviews, and as of late, interviews. I have also done event coverage for NerdBastards, most notably attending PAX West 2018 as a member of the press. Honing my skills and focus as a writer, NerdBastards has made it clear that entertainment writing is something I care deeply about. Even better, I have the talents and drive for the work. Unfortunately, the most recent media company that bought the site turned out to be a pyramid scheme so, while I have copies of my work, the site no longer works. I can give references from my co-workers Stonie Williams and Lucas Gallagher if asked.
